Edie Gibson graduated from Ferris State University's Dental Hygiene program in 1985. She began her dental career as an assistant while still in high school. Throughout her twenty-eight years in the field, she has worked in every position within an office, including implant coordinator and office manager for the world renowned implantologist, Dr. Kenneth Judy, in New York City. She has published numerous articles on dental implants and serves as a member of the Editorial Review Board, Dental Implant Section, for the Journal of Practical Hygiene.

The charismatic Edie has literally gone around the world with implant dentistry. A humorous, energetic and knowledge-wealthy presenter, she is one of the original creators of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries' (ADIA) Dental Hygiene Implant Certification Program (DHICP). In addition to training team members worldwide on dental implants, she is also the former Executive Director of the ADIA, as well as a Certified Trainer and Advisory Board member.

She shares her life with her husband Christian, daughter Makaila, 3 dogs, Ben, Bella and Coco, 4 horses, Big Jake, Mariah, Maggie May and Boone, and 2 cats, Spanky and Lucy! Life is never dull!!
